It's a White Out #8
Our bi-monthly snapshot of things we love and things to do, doggy style.
We spent the best part of last year lusting over J.W Anderson's Puzzle Bag for Loewe but managed to keep our spending in check (just). Restraint is likely to go out the window however, with the arrival of the Spanish brand's Ashley Sunglasses: modernist, futuristic and chic, and did we mention a mirrored lens? Almost all of the purchase pleasure for a fraction of the handbag price. Perfect.
The Oblix bowl sates your pup & our lucite love
Our penchant for 70s chic means lucite is always top of mind so it's no surprise that this frosted acrylic Oblix bowl from Fellipet ticks all our style boxes and it even comes at a reasonable price (rare for us!). What's more, the Oblix's curved, sloped base and raised shallow inner dish makes for an easier and healthier eating position from which your mutt can scoff his food. Available in the UK from Pet Runway.
Once YBA Damien Hirst has a monster of an art collection and, fortunately for us, last year he opened his own South London gallery in which to share it. Currently showing: Koons Now, features 6 cavernous rooms of pop-artist and puppy-lover Jeff Koon's larger than life works spanning 35 years of his extraordinary career (including some never before seen in the UK). Top of our list! On show until 16 October, 2016.
*Warning: Contains some explicit content so either leave the kids at home or park them with Grandma and a crispy Chenin Blanc in Pharmacy 2: Hirst's in-house restaurant collaboration with acclaimed foodie Mark Hix.
**We can't guarantee any dog works will be on display but surely there must be one. Koons has made so many mutts over the years! Puppies, Poodles, Westies, Balloon Dogs. We'll be disappointed if there's not at least one!

High five! Common Projects
Our high-top crush kicked off in the mid-eighties when Reebok released it's Freestyle Hi trainer - a terry-lined aerobics shoe made from "glove-soft" leather cool enough for the aerobics-obsessed to wear inside and outside of the gym (Dad was sent on a mission to buy some on a work trip to the US). A few years later Converse "Chucks" became our high top of choice (along with ripped 501s - Mum not happy!). In the early nineties, Nike baskets (No-one would buy me the Reebok Pumps), and since then a period of low-top love. Fast forward to Summer 2016 and Italian brand Common Projects is set to lure us out of our high-top hiatus. This slick white pair of Nappa kicks will be perfect for parading bronzed pins in the park (trip to the sun in order!).
